Connie Fisher delights audiences with her music and enjoys sharing her collection of the rich musical traditions of the world. While singing and playing her classical and acoustic guitars or tambura, Connie's voice is ethereal and lustrous. She relates poetic history in traditional and original songs and ballads, captivating her audience, while transporting them to a time of long ago. Connie performs a repertoire of original and world music; featuring traditional Celtic music and her collection of traditional songs of Bulgaria, Hungary, Romania, Greece, Spain, India, Africa, Tibet, the Middle-East and Native America. Connie's original songs are inspired by her love and study of world music, nature and spirit. Her study of the classical vocal music of North & South India has been a major influence on her vocal style. Connie also performs with her cedar flutes and ethnic wind instruments. Connie has recorded a collection of Celtic ballads with Steve Mitchell on mandolin, titled Mythos - Celtic Tradition, available online at CD Baby. Connie formerly performed as vocalist and dancer for Europa, featuring the traditional music of Eastern Europe and the gypsies.
