The music and stories presented enrich student learning by sharing the traditions, history, and culture of the British Isles while creating an atmosphere of a time long past and bringing geography and history lessons to life for the student.

During the 1749 Jacobite Rebellion in Scotland, Bonnie Prince Charles led his clans against the British. This song reflects the spirit of the time.

(The Mist-Covered Mountains) This Scottish song in Gaelic is a “cry from the heart” yearning for the mountains of home.
